Many of us have grown up in a world created with a black ink pen and a ruler. A world full of clear lines, clear doctrine, and big boxes labeled "christian" or "non-christian", "in" or "out", "right" or "wrong".
As we grow, we begin to recognize that not everything is as simple as we'd like it to be - that this is not a place of black lines only, but it is also a place flowing with vivid watercolors that mix, blend, wander and confuse.
What can we carry as our own in a beautiful, challenging, changing world?
What is true and what is only a rumor?
How can we live our lives well in a place like this?
These are the questions that YWAM Seattle loves.We are a community that seeks to live authentic, holistic lives in Seattle and abroad. We desire to embrace both the abundance and the sorrow of the Kingdom of God, and to love our neighbors well. We agree with the justice-seeking heart of God and his hopes for all of mankind.
